标准简介：This part of ISO/TS 9250 presents a list of equivalent terms, in English, French and Russian, related to the performance and dimensions of earth-moving machinery; these terms being thoroughly defined in existing International Standards.
Its purpose is to
—  facilitate the exchange of information in the field of earth-moving machinery, worldwide, in particular, by ensuring correct and consistant communication between users,
—  clarify the information flow among professionals (sales, after-sales service, engin-eering, spare-parts distri-bution, etc.),
—  simplify customs operations and statistical surveys, and
—  make possible translation into the main languages used in the different markets.
